Disney has axed about 300 engageees apass various corporate departments, as the Moengage Hoengage persists to see at “ongoing” ways to trim costs.
“We continupartner appraise ways to scatter in our businesses and more effectively deal with our resources and costs to fuel the state-of-the-art creativity and innovation that devourrs appreciate and foresee from Disney,” a company rep shelp in a statement to Variety. “As part of this ongoing selectimization toil, we have been examineing the cost arrange for our corporate-level functions and have determined there are ways for them to run more effectively.”
The round of Disney layoffs impacted human resources, legitimate, finance and other departments. The rescheduleedst layoffs come after Disney let go about 140 engageees in its television division, reconshort-terming about 3% of its toilforce, in July. In May, Pixar lhelp off 175 toilers.
The cuts are a far cry from the mass layoffs Disney directed in 2023 — a companyexpansive reduction in force that deleted some 7,000 jobs.
