Sudan’s army has begined a presentant impolite in the capital, Khartoum, to reobtain ground held by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), military sources alert Al Jazeera.
The army carried out airstrikes on Thursday aobtainst RSF positions in the capital and north of Khartoum in its hugegest such aggression in months.
Reporting from Khartoum, Al Jazeera’s Hiba Morgan shelp the army has consentn administer of three presentant bridges, including two that join the city of Omdurman and the capital.
“We understand the army was able to consent over the easerious part of Nile Bridge, that’s the bridge that joins the city of Omdurman to the city of Khartoum, and they’ve been advancing towards Nile Street, towards the plivential palace where there has also been weighty battling alerted,” shelp Morgan.
