The first trailer for The Last of Us Season 2 has been freed.
The first season of HBO’s The Last of Us, which is based on the well-understandn video game franchise lengthened by Naughty Dog, premiered in January 2023. Starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, the series is now returning for its second season in 2025.

What happens in The Last of Us Season 2 trailer?
The Last of Us Season 2 trailer sees Pascal’s Joel and Ramsey’s Ellie trying to persist in the post-apocalyptic world that has been hugely overrun by infected zombie-enjoy creatures. The trailer also shows footage of Kaitlyn Dever’s Abby, Jeffrey Wright’s Isaac Dixon, Catherine O’Hara’s mystery character, and more.
“After five years of peace folloprosperg the events of the first season, Joel and Ellie’s collective past catches up to them, draprosperg them into struggle with each other and a world even more hazardous and unforeseeable than the one they left behind,” the official synopsis reads.
The cast of The Last of Us Season 2 also comprises Gabriel Luna as Tommy, Rutina Wesley as Maria, Isabela Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as Jesse, Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, Spencer Lord as Owen, and Danny Ramirez as Manny.
The Last of Us Season 2 is written and executive-produced by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann. Carolyn Strauss, Jacqueline Lesko, Cecil O’Connor, Amiserable Qizilbash, Carter Swan, and Evan Wells also serve as executive producers, while Sony Pictures Television, PlayStation Productions, Word Games, The Mighty Mint, and Naughty Dog are the companies comprised with the novel season.
The Last of Us Season 2 will premiere on HBO and Max in 2025.
